How many Bridesmaids and groomsmen should you have at your wedding?

Here at Wedding Angels we believe that when it comes to your big day and the months of wedding planning involved, that you should do what works for you. From our experience it is always important for you to follow your own vision, as you will receive many suggestions along the way and might get steered off course away from your initial dream wedding in order to accommodate others!

Many people find themselves worrying about having too few or too many bridesmaids and groomsmen and ultimately there is no right or wrong answer as it is a personal decision. Although, it is one of the most important decisions to be made as the people you end up choosing will be standing by your side during one of the biggest days of your life.

A lot of people think having a balance in numbers between both parties works best, especially from an aesthetic point of view. However, we suggest that you do not worry about the numbers too much, because even if they are uneven – this is just one of the many elements that make up your wedding day and it will still be just as beautiful regardless of how many people are within your bridal party!

If you have ruled out having bridesmaids or groomsmen completely, then do not look at that as a negative situation either. Some people find themselves in this position, especially if they do not want to have to be forced to choose between close friends and family members, or if they would prefer a quiet wedding with just a witness or their nearest and dearest. Ultimately, the most important person for you to consider is the person that will be standing toe to toe with you at the alter.

Consider wedding day management from Wedding Angels to help elevate any stress that you may be experiencing leading up to your wedding day and on the day of your wedding itself. Get in contact with us, we are here to help.
